On Friday, I will be moving to another part of the SoMa neighborhood, a few blocks from where I'm staying now (and just down the street from the wonderful Rainbow Grocery!). Then in the middle of this month, I will be moving to a longer-term sublet in beautiful Potrero Hill, very close to where my school is located! I will stay there until I fly home for Christmas. I think that should give me time to line up something for the spring semester, whether it be an apartment of my own (so expensive!) or another sublet.
I was a definitely skeptical at first, but I have to say, thank goodness for craigslist! That was how I found all of my housing here, and it all worked out pretty well. I don't know how useful it is for other parts of the country, but in SF, it's definitely a good way to find a place.
Uncle Rod and I are very happy that you have settled your housing. Now can just concentrate on school. Nana, Uncle Rod, Aunt Dee and niece Michelle are very inpressed with your video. We miss you and we love you.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Aunt Dee & Co.! I'm glad you enjoyed the video...It's definitely a relief to have my housing situated through the end of the semester...I miss you guys, too! Hope all is well on the East Coast!
